Thelma Hebert, 88, a resident of Gibson, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Thelma was born on December 30, 1924 in Paincourtville, La. the daughter of Eno and Stella Verret Duval.
Thelma loved spending time with her family and always enjoyed cooking for them. She enjoyed playing bingo and also sewing. She loved to go out and go dancing with her husband Milton.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four children, Dianna Guillory and husband Junior of Bayou L'Ourse, Hillary Hebert and wife Dean of Stephensville, Stella Castille and husband Horace of Bayou Vista, Milton Hebert, Jr. and wife Sherry of Tuscaloosa, Al.; twenty-two grandchildren; fifty-three great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Eno Duval and Stella Verret Duval; husband, Milton Hebert, Sr.; daughter, Geraldine Acosta; two great grandchildren, Ashlyn Palmature and Michael Broussard; two brothers, Nolan Duval and Everret Aucoin.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Thelma will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following services.
