In early 1870 they traveled with other pioneer families and settled in Hanover, Morristown, Indiana where she lived her remaining years. Zephaniah died in 1875 his burial is unknown. Census records show they had a real estate value of $4800. She finished raising the chldren on their farm and then moved with a son into a home on Washington Street having her own income and owning her home free. Alice was devoted to her family and God, educating her children, and used every ounce of determination to make a good life for her family, church and friends.

Mrs. Alice Banker
Mrs. Alice Banker, 83, died at 5 o'clock Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bray, of Anderson of pneumonia. Mrs. Banker for many years was a resident of Morristown. The body has been brought to the home of a son, Milton Banker, of Morristown, where funeral services were held this afternoon. Burial was made in the Hanover Cemetery.
