Bettie was the daughter of Adam Musser & Corrinna Wilson.

She married:
(1) Lewellyn Shipp on 20 Mar 1877 in Henry Co., MO
(2) Clemiel C. Sprinkle on 30 Nov 1882 in Johnson Co., MO

The 1900 census shows that Bettie had given birth to 7 children, 6 of whom were living. We can identify two children by Mr. Shipp (Mollie & Lucille Henrietta) and four by Mr. Sprinkle (Ada, Emma, James A. & Hazel Edith).

Her obituary in the Kansas City [MO] Times includes: "She is survived by four daughters, Miss Mollie M. Shipp of the home, secretary of the Women's Chamber of Commerce; Mrs. Hazel E. Vantrees, 20 East Seventy-second street; Mrs. O. B. Whitaker, Warrensburg, Mo. and Mrs. Edward Cornue, Spokane, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Miss Sadie A. Sprinkle of the home; a son, James Sprinkle, Pittsville, Mo., and three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Fulbright, Springfield, Mo.; Miss Susan Musser, 3647 Benton boulevard, and Mrs. Ellen Pennell, 513 Washington boulevard, Kansas City, Kansas."

Note that daughter Mrs. Edward Cornue = Mrs. Edward Walters. Husband Edward used both surnames.
