Helen Annalee Adams, 84, of Parkersburg, passed away June 8, 2013, at her daughter Rebecca's home.

She was born April 21, 1929, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Charles Edward McPherson and Margaret Juanita Byrd Vandergrift. Helen was a graduate of PHS and was a member of the 7th Street United Methodist Church. She had been an employee of The Guard Cleaners, Parkersburg Day Care and Misty Manufacturing. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the American Legion. She enjoyed shopping, Fashion, her pet poodle dogs and her pet cats.

Surviving is her son, Jerry D. (Sherry) Hamilton of Parkersburg, and her daughter, Rebecca Henderson of Parkersburg; one step-son, Mike (Linda) Adams of Michigan; two step-daughters, Vicki Lynn Adams and Kimberly Sue Adams, both of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, Trina Hamilton-Abbott, Kevin (Sabrina) Henderson, Leanna Henderson-Robinson (Joseph), Katy Hamilton and Christy Hamilton; three step-grandchildren, Michael (Taryn) Adams, Dietra Adams and Brooke (David) Drennen; numerous great and step-great-grandchildren; a half brother, Richard; three half sisters, Joy, Joan and Jo; and her step-mother, Marion McPherson of Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Stanley Hamilton, Arthur Marlow and Tom Adams.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg, Rev. Kathi Ambler will officiate and burial will follow at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Parkersburg. The visitation will be on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and an hour prior to the service on Thursday.
