G.B. Bartholomew died Monday evening, April 8th, of spotted fever. Mr. Bartholomew had lived in our midst about twelve years and was known by everyone as a sober, hard-working person. He left a wife and six small children in almost destitute circumstances. Kind relatives and friends have provided homes for the four older children and the two younger ones will remain with the mother. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon.
