Herman Leckner, Arcola Man, Dies
ARCOLA, Ill. — Herman Leckner, 85, Arcola, died at Arcola Nursing Home about 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Shrader funeral home here with Rev. Don Wise officiating. Burial will be in Arcola cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
Mr. Leckner was born July 2, 1875, near Hindsboro, a son of Andrew and Mary Jane Leckner. He farmed near Hindsboro and had been employed by the Illinois Central Railroad.
Surviving are his widow, the former Lillian Davis, and a daughter, Mrs. Frances Hamilton, Arcola.
