George Raymond Biddlestone, age 80, of Dennison, O., formerly of Uhrichsville, O., passed away Nov. 26, 2004, at Twin City Hospital at Dennison, O., following a sudden illness.

Born Aug. 26, 1924, at Uhrichsville, O., George was the son of the late George L. Biddlestone and Mary D. Fouts Biddlestone Fouts.

George retired from Superior Clay in Uhrichsville, O., in 1987 where he was a mechanic.

After his retirement, George carried his ability to fix anything over to where he presently lived at the Lanning House in Dennison, O. He also helped remodel the Dennison Yard and took care of maintenance at the Lanning House. Many people came to George to fix things.

He was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of the Rush Community Church of the Nazarene and Clay Workers Union No. 885.

On Sept. 19, 1954, George married Alma J. Burroway Biddlestone at the family home. Alma passed away Oct. 6, 1984.

George is survived by four children, Mr. George Levi Biddlestone and his significant other Corrina Kirkpatrick of Dover, O., Mr. Robert (Pamela) Biddlestone of Freeport, O., Mrs. Janet Marie (Lloyd) Davis of Port Washington, O., and Mrs. Mary Alice (Richard) Ball of Mineral City, O.; his siblings, Mrs. Hazel Casteel of Port Washington, O., Mr. Walter (Marjorie) Biddlestone of Greenville, O., and Mrs. Sylvia Morris of Tippecanoe, O.; six grandchildren, Lori Biddlestone, Hydee Biddlestone, Bobby Biddlestone, Jessica Geer, Angel Schafer and Shawn Schafer, and one great-grandchild, Danielle Geer; stepbrother, Mr. Charles Elwin (Mae) Fouts of Lawrenceville, Ga.; stepsisters, Mrs. Ethel Stevens of Baltic, O., and Mrs. Thelma (Gerald) Meek of Gnadenhutten, O.

In addition to his parents, George L. Biddlestone and Mary D. Biddlestone Fouts; one son, John W. Biddlestone; stepfather, Mr. Harvey Fouts; brothers, Mr. Albert Biddlestone and Mr. James Biddlestone, precede George in death.

Funeral services for George will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday (today), Nov. 30, 2004, at the Rush Community Church of the Nazarene at Uhrichsville, O., with Rev. Douglas Downs officiating. Burial will follow at the Rush Cemetery.

Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday (today) at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rush Community Church of the Nazarene, 4941 Rush Church Rd. SE, Uhrichsville, O. 44683.
