Linda Ruth (Mason) Peters, of Mustang, Oklahoma, age 74, died on Friday, March 1, 2013.

She was born on November 26, 1938, in Cashion, Oklahoma, to Henry Leroy and Bessie Iva (Barker) Mason.

She was a graduate of Madill High School and received her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education from UTEP. She worked for the United States Army as an Education Specialist, counseling service members on degree completion programs. She was a 30-year member of Good Shepherd UMC in Yukon. She loved to bead and spent 18 years volunteering with Suited for Success, a charitable clothing organization.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Linda is survived by her husband, Charles, of the home; daughters, Karen Nadeau, and Susan Collyar and husband Todd Jordan; stepdaughters, Kimberly Wilson and husband John, M.D., and Katheryn Clark and husband Jeff; grandchildren, E.J. Hartl, and Mason and Kalynne Nadeau; seven step-grandchildren; brother, Richard Mason and wife Vicki; and sister, Elizabeth Moore and husband W.L.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Yukon, with interment to follow at 3 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain View, Oklahoma, Under the direction of McNeil's Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
