She was retired from Kanawha Valley Hospital. She was a member of Charleston Mountain Mission and adult Bible class at the church.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Don Hermansdorfer and Patty of Sissonville, Roy Hermansdorfer and Patty, and Joe Hermansdorfer and Orsie, all of Charleston; brother, Carl Ingram of Charleston; sister, Ora "Tootsie" Marion of Charleston; grandchildren, Judy Proctor and husband, Jeff, of Sissonville, Karen Clendenin and husband, Jeff, of Lakeland, Fla., Nancy Butler and husband, Harold, of Charleston, Carl "Butch" Waldon, and wife, Kathy, of Charlotte, N.C., Vicki Haynes and husband, Allen, of Charleston, Kevin Hermansdorfer of Charleston, Scott Hermansdorfer and wife, Lisa, of Charleston; 12 great-grandchildren; and special niece, Janet Hermansdorfer of Charleston.
