WILLIAM HUFNALL

Former Resident of Madison, Died At Waco, Texas, Yesterday

Word was received by relatives in this city announcing the death of Mr. William Hufnall, who died suddenly at his home in Waco, Texas, yesterday.

Mr. Hufnall formerly lived in this city and was employed at the Nicklaus wholesale grocery. He removed from this city about 25 years ago and was about 65 years of age. His wife, formerly Miss Ella Gavin, died several years ago. She was the sister of Mr. Thomas Gavin, of this city. He is survived by on son, Dr. William Hufnall, of Waco, with whom he made his home, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Stilz, of this city.

The body will arrive on the noon train tomorrow and funeral services will be held from the depot. Interment will be in Springdale cemetery in charge of members of the local lodge of Knights of Pythias.

FUNERAL
Of William Huffnall Took Place at Noon Sunday

The remains of the late William Hufnall arrived on the noon train Sunday from Waco, Texas, where he died Friday following a three months illness of Bright's disease. The remains were accompanied by Dr. William Hufnall, of San Antonio, Texas, the decedent's son. The funeral took place from the depot and the interment was in Springdale cemetery, the Knight's of Pythias, in which order the deceased held membership, conducted the services at the grave.

William Hufnall was born in Madison 62 years ago. When a young man he learned the printing business in Madison and left here many years ago. For some time he has been living at Waco, Texas, where he was engaged in the hat manufacturing business. He had many friends here who learned of his passing with regret.

Dr. Hufnall, the son, who is engaged in contract work for digging oil wells, will return to Texas to-morrow.
