Hal Eric Stafford, Jr. 72, of Plantersville, Texas died January 1, 2013. He was born to Hal E. and Margaret [Trusedale] Stafford on November 14, 1940 in Alice, Texas.

Mr. Stafford proudly served in the United States Air Force . He was a trucker all his life and enjoyed the road.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Stafford of Plantersville, Texas, sisters, Katherine and husband Wayne Barnes of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Bettye Martin of Lafayette, Louisiana, step-children, Sharon Anderson and husband Dean Nead of Plantersville, Texas, Cheryl and husband Rodney Myers of Jacksonville, Florida, Eric Anderson of Venice Texas and Michael Anderson and companion Debra of Spring, Texas, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

A visitations will be held at the Highland Lakes Methodist Church, highway 1431 and 29, Buchanan Dam, Texas on Saturday January 5, 2013 at 9:30 am. Funeral services will be at the church at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Fenders Cemetery, Many, Louisiana on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com.
