William Bockenfeld of 1337 W. 7th, Davenport, died Monday afternoon in the Veterans Hospital, Knoxville, Iowa, after and extended illness. Mr. Bockenfeld was born in Quincy, Illinois. He resided in the Quad-City area most of his life. Mr. Bockenfeld, who was 57, had retired from the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are a brother , Louis, Davenport, and a sister Mrs. Jack Coon, Sacramento, California.
