Julia Anna Nelson Graham passed on to glory Dec. 29, 2004 in Polk County, Wis. She was 97 years old

Julia was born to John and Mary Nelson Sept. 15, 1907, in the township of Sterling, in the county of Polk, in the state of Wisconsin.

Julia was married to Enoch Graham in Waukesha, Wis., Feb. 24, 1924. To that marriage seven children were born. The family lived in the Waukesha area until after the Great Depression when they returned to the sterling area.

In the 1940's they moved to Grantsburg and opened the restaurant "The Eat Shop" in business through the war years. After the war they moved to St. Paul where Julia worked for the Simon and Magilner sewing factories. She later became a nursing assistant and worked until her retirement for the Wilder Foundation.
