Mrs. Cora E. Parsons, 87, of 1626 21st Ave, Longview, died Dec. 15 in a local hospital. She was born July 14, 1874 in Iowa.

She came to Longview from Yakima in 1951.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Grace Senter of Cheney, Mrs. Alice Wunderlich of Orofino, ID, and Mrs. May Lane of Lewistown, MT; three sons, Claude of Ontario, OR, Larkin of Baker, OR, and John of Craigmont, ID; 2 granddaughters, Mrs. Anita Rasmussen of Kelso and Mrs. Leola Hutchinson of Longview; 2 brothers, Melvin Axtell of Boise, ID, and Nathan Axtell of Okanogan; a sister, Mrs. Vera Halden of Yakima.

Services will be at 1 pm Monday at Steele Chapel with Rev. Darrell Teare officiating. Interment will be in Longview Memorial Park.
