He died at the home of his nephew, John D. Trout from pneumonia at the age of 82.
He spent his early years in the vicinity of Copper Hill, later going to Trenton where he was employed at Cadwalder Park. He returned to Hunterdon County eighteen months ago and made his home at Quakertown.
