Daughter of George P and Sarah L (Conser) Burnett. Married Aaron Henry Barbero 26 Jan 1892, Galesburg, Knox Co, IL. He died in 1933. Married Emanuel Regnold 5 Nov 1935. Mrs. Regnold mothered a foster grandson, Ralph Gullett, grandson of Aaron Barbero, who was an orphan before 2 years old.

MRS. AMELIA REGNOLD OF MAQUON SUCCUMBS
MAQUON - Mrs. Amelia Regnold, 79, fied at the Galesburg Cottage hospital at 2:15 p.m. Thursday where she had been a patient since Tuesday night. She had been in failing health for a number of months.
Surviving are the husband, Manuel Regnold, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Darnell of Missouri, Mrs. Flora Clark, Maquon, and Mrs. Ella Housh, Maquon. One grandson, Ralph Gullett, also survives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from the Maquon Methodist church with the Rev. Stephen Yemm officiating. Burial will be in the Maquon cemetery. It is requested that flowers be omitted.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. AMELIA REGNOLD
MAQUON - Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Regnold were conducted from the Maquon Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. Stephen Yemm, pastor of the Presbyterian church in Knoxville, was in charge of the service. Mrs. Sarah Bearmore at the piano softly played "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "Asleep in Jesus." Casketbearers were T.F. Gooding, Orrin Smith, T.J. Sleight, F.G. McCombs, James Tasker and William Collis.
Sarah Amelia Burnett, a lifelong resident of this vicinity, was the daughter of George P. and Sarah Conser Burnett. She was born on the Burnett homestead near Maquon on Nov. 17, 1861, and after a lingering illness passed away at the Cottage hospital in Galesburg atr 2:15 p.m. Thursday, July 31, aged 79 years, 8 months and 14 days.
She was united in marriage to Henry Barbero, Jan. 24, 1892, and they lived on a farm in Haw Creek township until they built and moved to the present home in Maquon. Mr. Barbero passed away in 1933 and on Nov. 5, 1935, she was married to Emanuel Regnold, who survives, and who had been untiring in his care of her during her many months of illness. Mrs. Regnold mothered a foster grandson, Ralph Gullett, who was made an orphan at an early age. She had been treasurer of the Maquon Ladies' Cemetery association for more than thirty-five years.
Those left to mourn her passing are her husband; the grandson and wife, Ralph and Clara Gullet; two great-grandchildren, Irma and Duane Gullett; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Darnell of Marlonville, Mo., Mrs. Ella Housh and Mrs. Flora Clark of Maquon; also several nieces and nephews and many friends. An infant sister, a brother, J.F. Burnett, a foster brother, James Nevitt, and her parents preceded her in death.
