Elizabeth is the daughter of Hon. Edward Green Bradford and Elizabeth Roberts Canby Bradford. She married Alexis 20 Jan 1875 in Wilmington. Together they had 4 children: Alice, Philip, Elizabeth and Eugene Du Pont. The family spent their early years in Kentucky, where their children were all born. Later, they removed to Wilmington. After Alexis death in 1904 Elizabeth lived in Greenville, Delaware, where she died at 72 years of age.
