He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a jet engine technician. He was highly respected by all ranks. He was survived by his wife Beth; son Robby and wife Laura and their daughter Ashley. Services were on Friday, June 7, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Buchanan Funeral Service chapel, followed by interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, with Full Military Honors.
