Myrtle Baird Hayes, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 04, 2013 at a local nursing facility. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Marty Watson officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. They suggest that those who wish make memorial contribution to Gideons International, Macon Camp East, P. O. Box 5718, Macon, GA 31208.

Mrs. Hayes, wife of the late Myron Hayes, was born in Hoschton, GA the daughter of the late Tenie H. and Myrle Hill Baird. Living in Macon since 1949, she was retired from Murphy Electric. Mrs. Hayes was a member of Avondale Baptist Church where she was active in the life of her church. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter.
