At the age of 21 years on Sept. 3, 1902, he took as his bride Miss Ethel Hull, whom he had met in Oskaloosa, Iowa and near that city the young people began their years of happy life together. To them three children were born, Howard, Charlotte and Clair.
For 19 years, Mr. and Mrs. Allard have lived in Detroit, Mich., but planned to return to Ethel, Mo., for their remaining years together, but on Dec. 7th, 1944, he passed away at his home, leaving his worn old Bible as evidence that he had gone to meet his God in that fairer and brighter Home.
