WM. B. CRAIG

Wm. B. Craig, of Mount Meridian, Augusta county, died on Saturday the 16th ult., of cerebro-spinal meningitis. Mr. Craig started to Port Republic, a distance of four miles, the Wednesday after our big blizzard, in a wagon. When some distance from here his team got stuck in a snow drift, and it took Mr. Craig an hour or more of hard work to extricate them. Returning home, he complained of feeling sick, and lay down on a bed. His wife sent immediately for Dr. Bell, but before his arrival Mr. Craig was unconscious, and remained so until his death, which took place the following Saturday.

Wm. B. Craig was the youngest son of the late J. Davis Craig, of Mt. Meridian, and the only brother of J. Sandie Craig, of Cold Sulphur Springs, Va. He leaves a wife - Miss Brownlee, of Augusta county, a mother and one brother to mourn his loss.

He will be greatly missed in this neighborhood.

Mr. Craig was about 44 years old at the time of his death.
