LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Thu., March 14, 1985. 'James Daymon Campbell, Rt. 1, Arthur City, died Sunday, March 10, at 5:30 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital. Services were held Tuesday, March 12, in the Forest Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Yarbrough and Rev. Bill Cox officiating. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home made burial in Forest Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Campbell was born July 7, 1912, in the Forest Hill community, a son of George Taylor Campbell and Mattie Emily (Emma) McAnally Campbell. He attended Forst Chapel schools and married Katie Hunter on July 25, 1931, in Hugo. He was a Baptist and was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jimmy Campbell of Kilgore and Jerry Campbell of Forest Chapel; two daughters, Bobbie Parsons of Belk and Judy Flinn of Forest Chapel; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Bernice Campbell of Crane; and a number of nieces and nephews'.
