Alice Hamilton

Alice Eva Hamilton, 77, of Vero Beach, died April 22, 2002, at VNA Hospice House after a brief illness. She was born June 29, 1924, in Fort Pierce, and was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.

Mrs. Hamilton was a school bus driver for the Indian River County school district, prior to retirement.

She was a past volunteer for the Vero Beach Swim Team Association.

Surviving are her three daughters, Linda Starns, Peggy Hamilton and Donna Snycerski; one son, Edward Hamilton; one step-daughter, Ruthie Sheets; one step-son, Kenneth Hamilton; one sister, Wanda Anderson; one brother, Arthur Harlock; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

There will be no repose or visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA Hospice House, 1111 36th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960, in Mrs. Hamilton's memory.

Arrangements are under the direction of Indian River Cremation Inc., Vero Beach.
