She was born Dec. 22, 1915, to Glenn and Blanche Riggle in Liberal, Kan. She married R.F. Brown Sr. Sept. 7, 1937, in Liberal, later moving to Odessa in 1954 from Snyder. She was a lifelong member of the Progressive Study Club. She was a 35-year member of the Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Christopher Sunday School Class at St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 44 years, R.F. Brown Sr.
Survivors include her sons, R.F. Brown Jr. and wife, Pat, of Odessa; and Randy Brown and wife, Judy, of Clay County; sister, Caroline Lowry of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Webb of Midland; Emily Brown of Portland, Ore., Mandy Talamantez of Abbott, and Mitchell Brown of Clay County; and seven great-grandchildren, Jacob Webb, Daniel Webb, Alexander Webb, Michael Webb, Morgan Talamantez, Camen Talamantez and Creed Brown.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today, June 14, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church with Keven Bushart officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be: Mitchell Brown, John Webb, Robert Lowry, Julian Fulp, Ernie Lynch and Al Butler.
Memorials may be made to the Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary or your favorite charity.
