He graduated from Coyne Electrical School in Chicago and was owner-partner of Electric Motor & Control Service.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Salem.
Survivors include his wife, Ida (Davis), whom he married in 1946; son, Roger Davis of Keizer; brother, Ervin of Columbus, Neb.; and three grandchildren.
There was a private family gathering, and private interment will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens in Salem. Arrangements are by Restlawn Funeral Home.
