Estella M. Copple, 89, of Connersville, passed away June 1, 2013 in Indianapolis, IN.
Estella was born July 4, 1923 in Lawrence Co, IN to Irvin G. and Mabel (Russell) Miller. She was a 1941 graduate of Rushville High School. She was a Rushville resident from 1932 to 1971.
She resided in Connersville since 1971.
Estella married K. Robert Moster on January 31, 1943. Bob passed away on August 16, 1969. She married J. Pierre Edwards on November 4, 1971 and he passed away on March 20, 1976. She married Ernest A. Copple on May 7, 1977 and he passed away on January 9, 1980.
Estella owned Accousticon Hearing Center for 15 years, serving Rush, Fayette and Shelby counties. She and her husband, Robert Moster were the original owners of the Rushville Pharmacy in 1944 and were longtime associates of Moster & Sons Mortuary where they were part owner and Robert was a funeral director. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Connerville, Tri Kappa Sorority, Business and Professional Women, and Ladies of the Elks in Connersville. Estella was an avid bridge player. She was active in many clubs and played in many tournaments throughout her lifetime. Above all, Estella adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and often made those trips a family affair!
Survivors include daughters-in-law, Kay Moster of Plainfield, IN and Mary Beth Moster Scott of Carmel, IN, a sister, Lillian Kehl of Fayette County, sister-in-law, Barbara Miller of Rushville, grandchildren, Jeffrey R. and his wife Chrysa Moster of Chicago, IL, Deborah Aikman of Carmel, IN, Angela N. and husband Marino Fresch of Surrey, U.K., Scott G. Moster of Plainfield, IN, and Joshua Moster of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Alexa, George, and Stella Moster, Emma and Michael Aikman, and Nicholas and Christopher Fresch,
as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents & husbands, Estella was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen A. Moster and Gregory R. Moster and three brothers: Jack, Irvin Junior, and Lester Eugene.
Services for Estella will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, with Eric Hopkins presiding. Friends are welcome to visit on Thursday from 11:30 AM until time of service. Entombment will be in the East Hill Shrine Mausoleum.
