'Funeral of Mrs. Alice Pearl Allen, 65, former resident of Biardstown community, will be held in Lancaster Friday at 10 a.m. at Rudolph Funeral Chapel, with burial in Restland Cemetery, Dallas. The Rev. Robert S. McKee and the Rev. Robin Moffett will officiate.

Mrs. Allen was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Irving. Daughter of the late F.M. and Clara Belle (Holt) Cross, she was born at Biardstown near Paris, 17 Sep 1893, and had lived here the past four years making her home with a son, S.C. Allen.

She died at his residence Monday, after illness. Surviving are these children besides her son here; F. M. Allen, Irving; Mrs. J.R. Morris, Wichita Falls; Mrs. John Osterbout, Dlo, Idaho; Mrs. Tom Patterson, Farmersville, and Mrs. Ralph Jones, Arco, Idaho; 19 other descendants, and these brothers and sisters; Jeff Cross, Lubbock; Bob Cross and Ed Cross in Oklahoma; Mrs. Myrtle Love, Grand Prairie, Mrs. Tom Archer, Blair, Okla., and Mrs. Rob Jamar, Paris.'
