Mrs. Lovena Mae Hibbs, age 83, of # 3 Park Street, Buckhannon, WV, passed away at 3:42 A. M. Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the Meadowview Manor in Bridgeport, WV following a brief illness. She was born in Upshur County, WV,
December 12, 1925 a daughter of the late Herbert L. Gladwell & Virgie Loudin Gladwell.
Her husband, Bennie J. Hibbs, whom she married April 19, 1948, preceded her in death on February 11, 1986. Mrs. Hibbs was also preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Corley, Olena Lowe,& Madeline Cogar .
Surviving are, one son, Roger L. Hibbs, two daughters & sons-in-law, Amanda Katherine "Kathy" Bucklew & husband, Stephen, Jacksonville, NC & Melinda K. Hupps & husband, Bob, Quiet Dell Community, WV, one sister & brother-in-law,
Shirley & Roscoe Rexroad, seven grandchildren, Michele Michael & husband, Tim, Buckhannon, WV, Ben, Britne, & Jessica Bucklew, all of Jacksonville, NC, Kris
Grant, Jenna & Becca Hupps, all of Quiet Dell Community, WV, three great grandchildren, Jason Hibbs, Ashley & Joey Shreves, all of Buckhannon, WV, a special friend of the family, Patricia "Pat" Hibbs & an uncle, Rex Loudin , both of Buckhannon, WV.
Mrs. Hibbs was cremated.
