Funeral services for Mrs. Claudia "Frances" Mullis, age 86, will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Buckhorn United Methodist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Tim Paulk and Rev. Larry Waldrep will officiate.
Mrs. Mullis was born on March 23, 1927 in Dexter, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Dorothy Wood Waldrep. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Mullis, and a daughter, Donna Thompson. She was a member of Buckhorn United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker. She passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at her residence.
The family received friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Buckhorn United Methodist Church.
Charitable donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital at 1902 Forsyth Street, Macon, GA 31201 or any breast cancer awareness charity.
