Mrs. Burkins was born in Street. She was the daughter of the late J. Kemmett and Cora Bell (Miller) Doyle. She was a lifetime resident of Harford County. She had been employed over 20 years at the then Whiteford Sewing Factory. Mrs. Burkins is survived by four sons, Gerald Arthur Burkins, Jay Dee Burkins and Arthur M. Burkins Jr., all of Whiteford, and Paul D. Burkins of Cardiff; a daughter, Betty Ann (Burkins)Burns of Alvin, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, George Earl Doyle of Street; and a sister, Martha Elizabeth Teague of Street. She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Eugene Doyle Sr. and Robert Marion Burkins.
