Warren Eugene Pressley, 87 of 13291 Hwy. 76 W, husband of Mildred Godfrey Pressley, died May 28 at AnMed in Anderson.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Arthur Pressley and Abbie Mitchell Pressley. He was a member and former Deacon of Union Baptist Church, the Ready Sunday school class and the Brewerton Lodge #183 A.F.M. and served in the U.S. Navy in Normandy during WW11.

Surviving are his wife of the home, one son; Tony Pressley and wife Karen of Waterloo, one daughter; Charlene Davis and husband Eric of Hickory Tavern, six grandchildren; Tanya Eclavea, Tara Alexander (Brad), Blake Davis (Dabs), Matthew Davis, Brantley Pressley, Austin Laroche (Casey), six greatgrandchildren; Natalie Tumblin, Connor Eclavea, Dillon Eclavea, Lillieclaire Eclavea and Cooper Laroche. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by three brothers; Marshall, Mitchell and Talmadge Pressley, three sisters; Sue Cooper, Lois Cooper and Iris Baldwin.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Thursday at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Garrison, Rev. Bryant Sims and Rev. Larry Pitts officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The body will be placed in the church at 2 PM Thursday. Memorials may be made to The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering of the church at 536 Old Quaker Church Road, Laurens, SC 29360 or to Blue Ridge Hospice, 105 Levett Dr. Greenville, SC 29607.
