In 1823 while still in NC Mary married John Pike. The couple then moved to Randolph County with the Friends. They were received at the White River MM on February 5, 1831, together with their sons, Benjamin and William. This was about two years subsequent to the coming of Mary Pike's father, Benjamin Piggott.
Mary & John had a third child, Rebecca, born in 1832.
Mary died May 16, 1834, and is presumably buried in the present Jericho burying-ground.
After Mary died John stayed in the area and married Margery Buckingham, (they had 3 children).
