An Excellent Woman Has Passed to Her Reward Above. It will be sad news to a great many friends, relatives and acquaintances in Alabama and elsewhere to learn that Mrs J R Woods, of near Mt Zion, is no more, having departed this life on Friday of last week, in the 77th year of her age, when her precious spirit winged its flight from earthly walks forever and went to join loved ones who had preceded her to that Mansion made without Hands, where sorrow and sadness is not known and pain and parting will be no more. No saint ever bore sorrow more uncompaningly or with more Christian resignation, and those who survive her have the consolation to the bereaved relatives in this, their dark hour of sad affliction, and may they find comfort and solace in the thought that she is in a purer, brighter and better world than this.
