Dorothy Ann "Mama Ann" King Skelton, lifelong resident of the Moscow Community and mother of Jerry Bradford of Moscow departed this life Friday morning, May 31, 2013 at the Methodist Germantown Hospital where she had been a patient for three days. She was 75 years of age and died following an extended illness.

Ms. Skelton was born May 1, 1938 in Somerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul King, Sr. and Viola Gaines King. She received her education in the Fayette County Public School System. She was active in the sports program of the Fayette County High School in Somerville where she was a member of the basketball team and also served as a school majorette.

Ms. Skelton was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong resident of the Moscow Community in Fayette County. She was a family-oriented person and enjoyed bingo as long as health permitted. Ms. Skelton will be remembered as a person with a pleasant disposition during her long illness and confinement.

Ms. Skelton is survived by her son, Jerry L. Bradford and his wife, Barbara of Moscow; two granddaughters, Christy Sprayberry of Moscow, Ashley Ramsey of Colorado Springs, Co; and five great grandchildren, Kyle Brock, Chelsea Brock, Tyler Sprayberry, Ava Ramsey and Penny Ramsey.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jerry Bradford, Jr.
