Lottie Marie Bannister, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Lottie Marie Bannister was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Fort Worth to A.T. Rodgers and Onie Dorris. She graduated from Trimble Tech High School. She was a proud school teacher for many years and she started Glenview Christian School in Haltom City. Lottie was a very devoted wife and mother and a member of Glenview Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Lexington Place of Richland Hills and Gardendale Hospice for the loving care of our mother and family. Lottie was proceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jim Bannister. Survivors: Sons, Michael Bannister and wife, Meleah, and Randy Bannister and wife, Rhonda; daughter, Jan Morris and husband, Darrell; sisters, Edna Stevens and husband, James, and Louise Trimble and husband, Richard; sister-in-law, Loretta Bannister; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
