LAMPASAS - David Henry Alderson, 79, a retired rancher, died Wednesday at his home after an illness.
Funeral will be Friday at 4 p.m. in Clements Funeral Home of Burnet, Rev. Ben Bohmfalk officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
He was born in Burnet County and had lived in Lampasas seven years. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dora Alderson of Lampasas; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Smith of Round Mountain and Mrs. Delbert Martin of Lampasas; a brother, Luther Alderson of Lampasas; four sisters, Mrs. Arra Rolls and Mrs. Lee Whitely, both of Odom, Mrs. Nora Chamberlain of Austin and Mrs. Lorena Barnes of Marble Falls; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
