Lee Winey 83, widow of Harold E. Winey, a former resident of Meyers Road, Shaftsbury, VT, died Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, VT, following a brief illness. Born in St. Louis, MO, May 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Margaret (Oswald) Adler. She received her education at the Monticello Boarding School and was a graduate of the Julliard School of Music in New York City. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Winey Digrandi and Shawn Kershaw Wicks, both of London, England; a son, Tony Kershaw of Berkeley, CA; three grandchildren: Tom Besford, Matteo Digrandi and Luca Digrandi, all of London; and extended family. At Mrs. Winey's request no funeral services will be held. Instead, her children invite friends and family across the globe to honor her with a moment of silence anytime during the day on Sunday, October 29. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery
