Viola and Charles were murdered by their youngest son, Richard Hogestyn.

MR. AND MRS. CHARLES HOGESTYN

ALBION - Services are to be held here at 2 p.m. Friday for Charles Hogestyn, 53, and his wife, Viola, 45, of Spencerport and formerly of Kendall, who died Tuesday (March 31, 1964).

They leave three sons, Kirk and Richard of Spencerport and Gordon of Kent, two daughters, Mrs. George Miller of Medina and Mrs. Gene Flagg of Brockport, and a foster-daughter, Mrs. Frank Seitzer of Albion, and six grandchildren.

Mr. Hogestyn also leaves three brothers, Raymond, John and Leonard, all of Rochester; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Sommerfelt of Clarendon, Mrs. Anna Scouten of Rochester and Mrs. Wiliam Booher of Las Vegas, Nev.; and his wife leaes her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Rowley, and a brother, James Rowley, all of Kendall.

Friends may call this afternoon and evening at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion, where a service is to be held at 2 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Murray Cemetery.
