James P. Verace, 15, 6548 Charles St., died at 5:16 a.m. Monday, June 2, 1975, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Born Feb. 8, 1960 in Rockford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent and Gloria Verace. Lived entire life in Rockford.
He was a freshman at Boyland Central Catholic High School.
Survivors include: his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Vincent Verace Jr., Rockford; three brothers, Michael, Vincent and Ronald, and two sisters, Susan and Ann, all at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzo Verace, Rockford; materal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Reufer Sr., Roscoe, and several uncles and aunts.
Services at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, in GASPARINI & OLIVERI FUNERAL HOME, 707 Marchesano Drive, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Robert Lawrence pastor, officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
