Mary Alice Carson (Vaco, Reagan) passed away on May 3, 2013 at the age of 75 in Riverside, California from complications of Alzheimer's. She was born on March 25, 1938 to Charlie and Ruthie VanVeckhoven in Nacogdoches, Texas. During her life, Mary had worked as a hair-dresser, cashier, assistant apartment manager and CNA. Some of her hobbies included her longtime love of oil painting, being outdoors and singing old hymns. She was a loving person who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Reagan and her daughter, Mary Ruth Merchant. She is survived by her son, James Victor Reagan; Granddaughters, Sha LaNae and Shadow King; Grandsons, Seth and Shannon Reagan; Great-Grandson, Giovanni LaNae, and a large extended family.
