Mrs. Alois Bielen
Loyal - Mrs. Alois (Eva A.) Bielen, 56, Route 1, Loyal, died at 2:12 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Hospital In Marshfield, where she had been admitted Feb. 3.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Logan, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, with nephews serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal, where a Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service will be at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The former Eva Kuranda was born Nov. 15, 1925 in Chicago to Mr. and Mrs. Casmir (Agnes Antolak) Kuranda and received her education at Victor School at Mosinee. She was married to Alois Bielen May 31, 1947 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mosinee. He survives.
After their marriage they lived in Mosinee from 1947 until 1949, when they moved to Chicago. They lived there until 1951, when they came to the town of Beaver and farmed until 1967. She worked at Weyerhaeuser Co.. in Marshfield from 1967 until her illness in 1980.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its Altar Society.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Beverly) Pettis, Cadott, Mrs. Clarence (Lois) Henry Jr., Waukon, Iowa, and Mrs. Stephen (Susan) Wolf, Marshfield; two sons, David, Marshfield, and Paul, Madison; three brothers, Frank Kuranda, Glendale Heights, Ill., William Kuranda, Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Walter Kuranda, Wauconda, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Angeline) Williams, Round Lake, Ill., Mrs. Agnes Castrow, Wausau, Mrs. Harry (Sophie) Pachniak, Edgar, and Mrs. George (Christine) Riesselmann, Kenosha; and seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
