Charles Edward Anderson was born August 20, 1879, in Fayette County, Texas, and was married Oct. 10, 1900, to Nona Hector at Silvery Valley, Coleman County. To this union were born nine children, all living except, one, a girl, who died at the age of four years, Addie Mary Anderson. The surviving children are: Mrs. Jeff Startz, Mrs. Fred Hall, Mrs. Arthur Behrens, Mrs. Jack Linn, Miss Florece Anderson, Clarence Anderson, Matt Anderson and Carl Anderson, all of this place. He had one sister and one brother, Mrs. Ed Patton of Llano and August Anderson of San Antonio.
Mr. Anderson was regarded as a true Christian, was converted about eight years ago, obeying the laws of the spirit and of his church and is said to have lived a truly consecrated life. His one regret was that his life was wasted before he became a true Christian. He was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends and relatives who grieve at his sudden and untimely passing.
