She was born January 10, 1934, in Warren County, TN, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Starkey was preceded in death by parents Charles Clifton and Mary Alice Grove Cardwell, her husbands D.D. Arney and Charles Edward (Ox) Starkey, and daughters Donna Ann Arney and Joyce Arney.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Kathleen and Jerry Steele of McMinnville, TN and Sally and Tobby Donalson of Lakeland, FL, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service is 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 05, 2013, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Tobby Donalson will officiate. Interment will follow at New Union Cemetery. The Starkey Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again Wednesday from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
