Ethel E. Cloer
MOCKSVILLE - Mrs. Ethel Estelle Cloer, 81, of 1361 Highway 64 West, Mocksville, died Friday at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Iredell County on August 28, 1925, to the late Thomas Edward Cloer and the late Fannie Bell Benge Cloer.
Mrs. Cloer was a former employee of Hanes Mills and was a homemaker. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Cooleemee and was married to John Bert Owings, who preceded her in death in 1974.
Mrs. Cloer is survived by a son: John Owings (Ricky) and a daughter: Rose Estelle Owings both of Mocksville, and a grandson: Johnathan Trent Owings, also of Mocksville.
Funeral Services: will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home conducted by Rev. John Daniel Shore.
Interment: will follow in the Society Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends this evening from 7 until 8:30 at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
