Robert Michael Porter, aged 78, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. H W Good 463 Cypress Street Elmira on Monday afternoon. He is survived by three other daughters: Mrs. A P Furman, Mrs. J V Pierce both of Elmira, Mrs. A C Day of Cleveland Ohio, three sons: Burt & Edgar of Buffalo and James of Williamsport, 26 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters Miss Katie Porter of Williamsport and Mrs. Elizabeth Newcomer of Mt.Vernon NY.
The body will be brought to Williamsport today and services will be held Thursday afternoon at the home of his son James of Bloomingrove Road.
