Edith A. Sikorsky, 93, of Danielsville died peacefully on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. Edith was the widow of the late John Sikorsky who died in 1994; they were married 49 years. She was the daughter of the late Jeremiah K. and Lillian (Gable) Hower. She attended Lehigh Township Schools and was an alumnus of Moravian Seminary and College for Women. She taught 2 years in the Lehigh Township School District and taught Special Education for the Colonial Intermediate Unit #20 for 24 years before retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Paul's UCC of Indianland, Cherryville where she taught Sunday School, Bible School, and sang in the choir for several years.

Survivors: Son, J. Jere Sikorsky of Danielsville. Daughters, Annamary Sikor-sky of Lancaster, Elizabeth of Danielsville. 2 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Altrichter, and brothers, Allen, John, Justin, and Meade.

Services: 10 AM Friday, May 31, 2013, St. Paul's UCC, 787 Almond Rd., Cherryville. Calling hour 9-10 AM at the church. Interment to follow at Indianland Cemetery.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Paul's UCC Memorial Fund, PO Box 969, Cherryville, PA 18035.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harding Funeral Home, Inc. of Slatington.
