Mr. Rector was a farmer in the Waverly area all of his life. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Waverly.
Survivors: wife, Mary; daughter, Lynn (husband, Steve) Ladage of Waverly; two sons, Stephen (wife, Kris) of Metamora and David L. of Springfield; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marcella Allen of Chenoa and Edna Maude (husband, Ernest) Kopatz of Lahabra Calif.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Christ Lutheran Church, Waverly. Burial: Waverly East Cemetery.
