"Easton Free Press, Thursday, December 31, 1903, Page 5:
"Mrs. Josephine Wieder, of Phillipsburg, formerly of Bloomsbury, NJ, died at 7.30 Wednesday evening at the Easton Hospital from strangulated hernia. Mrs. Wieder was taken to the hospital early in the evening from the residence of Dr. Brown, Phillipsburg, and death resulted on account of her weakened condition about two hours later.
"Deceased was 68 years of age, and is survived by her husband, who lives in Bloomsbury, and two daughters, residing in Phillipsburg."
NOTE: NP obit dated 1903; tombstone reads 1904.
