HULSEY, GLORIA GILL, Gloria Gill Hulsey, 85, was born in Terrell, Texas to Ben L. Gill, Jr. and Pauline Allen Gill in November 10, 1921. She died on January 10, 2007 from complications of Parkinsons disease. She was a graduate of Terrell High School in 1939. She attended The Hockaday School and The University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Gloria married Riter Carol Hulsey December 18, 1943. Gloria was a president of St. Agnes Alter Guild, Good Sheppard Woman of Episcopal Church, and the Terrell Park Board. She was also a member of the Browning Club and the Kaufman County Childrens Shelter. Gloria is loved and survived by her husband of 63 years, Riter C. Hulsey, her two children, son, Robert A. Hulsey and wife Sherry; and daughter Carol Hulsey White; three grandchildren, Brian Gill Hulsey and wife Keri, Carl Stevens White, II and wife Abby, Gloria Lindsey Penny and husband Trey; and two great-grandchildren Riter Louis White and Bennett Abigail White. Gloria was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Allen Gill Sullivan in November, 2006 and survived by her niece Nancy Clements Seay and Ben Gill Clements. Heartfelt appreciation to her exceptional helpers: Mary Brown, Clara Burnet, Kathy Hill, Velma Peters, Patti Sluder, Karen Soto and especially Margaret Neal who cared for the family for 55 years. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2007 at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Terrell, Texas. Internment will follow at Oakland Memorial Cemetery.
