Graveside services for Marie McDaniel, 81, of Shreveport formally of Winnsboro will be held 11 am Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Providence Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Don Blackmon officiating under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home.
Mrs. McDaniel was born February 17, 1932 in Franklin Parish to Earl and Clarice Peters Swazey and passed from this life on May 27, 2013 at Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dub McDaniel and son Kerry McDaniel. Mrs. McDaniel was a member of the Baptist Faith attending Cross Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include son Perry McDaniel and wife Stacey of Shreveport; granddaughter Brittney McDaniel Hughes and husband Lewis of Shreveport; great-granddaughter Avaleigh Hughes; niece Cheryl Tolar; step-grandchildren Marty Humphrey; Stephanie Ryan; son Roger McDaniel; daughter Delaine Coulson and husband Jeff; special friends Joe and Shirley Watts.
